What time does the tour start?

Typically, it is best to enter the Park about 6:30 am.  It is all dependent on the guest preferences but the line to enter the park does increase significantly after this time.

Where does the tour start?

All tours originate and terminate in West Yellowstone.  We will meet you at your hotel or rental property.

If you are traveling in from out of town, we meet at the West Yellowstone Visitor Center located at 30 Yellowstone Ave. West Yellowstone, MT 59758. Other meeting locations are available and can be discussed prior to booking.

What weather can be expected?

Because of the park’s high elevation, Yellowstone weather varies dramatically from season to season, and even day to day.  You may find snow in the summer months or 80 degree temperatures in the fall, so pack multiple layers of clothing and gear for all weather types when visiting Yellowstone.

What type of clothing should we wear?

It is recommended to dress in layers so that as the temperatures rise you can remove excess clothing. 

Footwear should be closed toe and it is best to have sneakers or hiking boots with an aggressive tread so that if walking any distances over uneven terrain you can maintain good footing.
